I was able to catch most of a really interesting news report on NPR this afternoon on Al-Jazeera. I highly recommend listening to it. It was a real eye-opener. Al-Jazeera unfortunately has a pretty bad rap however most folks that have negative opinions on the news channel are less than informed on how/why Al-Jazeera was started and what it's goals are. In fact many of it's staff came to Al-Jazeera English from very respectabe news stations such as CBC, BBC, etc. If you have a spare half hour, tune in!
