On Sunday, after a short 2 day visit, Kelly left to go back to San Diego. I'm generally not sad when I have to say goodbye to my bestest of best friends but this time round I am.

I miss my Kelly! Kelly is really one of the only people that really 'gets' me. Our friendship is effortless. Absolutely effortless. Well actually...let me take that back. Of course two people work at any kind of relationship including friendship but what I mean is that when we hang out, there is just simple and true friendship. We just are. We've been friends now for over 10 years (yikes!) but there is no friendship like the one you have with somebody you've known for what seems like forever. In a good kind of way of course!!
Sigh.
(pout)
I kept trying to convince Kelly to move out here. It's not working.
Sigh.
The silver lining is that we generally see each other once a year but this year - the grand year of 2009 - we have already seen each other twice and before the year is over we will probably see each other another 2 more times. Yey!!!
Here is a classic Kelly picture.
But the picture below is more so us. :)
Goodness, that picture makes me smile!! Kelly - don't kill me for posting this one either! If you think you look ridiculous, riddle me this...what am I doing with my hands???

Well, I'm honored to be the subject of an entire blog post! I would definitely consider moving out to Phoenix if you could find a way to make the summers 30 degrees cooler. My visit was definitely too brief + I brought the San Diego rain to Phoenix. After the bar exam, I'm going to nest in your place for a little while. I purposely didn't tell Rich during my visit, but I'd warn him soon if I were you...
I already miss you lots too! You've been an incredible friend through good times and bad. I honestly don't know where I'd be without your friendship these past few years. You're my rock!
Actually, I love the last picture. Who else but you is going to encourage my Elaine Benes style of dancing?
You two make me smile...
It is awesome that the two of you have such a wonderful friendship! And hey, San Diego and Phoenix aren't too far away...it's not like, say being across the country from eachother:)
I believe that you are holding an invisible light saber. Additionally, you are flipping off the invisible people who doubt the power of your invisible light saber.
Kell-dog - we have got to get the Elaine dance on video. :) Next visit!
Lauren - well, thank ya! I smile too.
Lizzie - you're right it isn't too far, thank goodness. Can't wait till Kelly is down with law school and I'm done with wedding planning!
Andy - dude, that made me laugh out loud. :)
