Anyway...we're baaaaaaaaaaaaack! What a great trip! It was very short and very jam-packed but it was so worth it. As I may have mentionned before, the main reason we flew to Chicago was for our cousin's wedding. What a gorgeous wedding! Much like ours, they are blending their two families and two traditions. Theresa is Catholic and Joni is Jewish...much like Richie and I. Not only did we attend the rehearsal dinner and wedding, we got to see Rich's side of the family and some of his high-school best friends. We really did get a lot done in 48 hrs! Here are just a quick sampling of pictures of Rich's family...soon to be my family! If you're on facebook, you can see more pictures from the weekend.

Baby got back
Well it's more so that I'm back. Back from Chi-town. (Hmm...maybe that title didn't work). :)

Rich and I before the wedding. What do you think of the dress? It's way different than what I would usually wear but there was something about it that I loved. And yes, I can read your mind...I do in fact look like a zebra. :)
We had a lot of fun with Rich's cousin Alex, his wife Michele and their baby boy Matthew who is incredibly adorable!
Jeff (Rich's bro), Helen (Rich's Mom) and Richie!
Rich's Mom's side of the family and please note Grandma Eleanor (sitting down in blue) who is Rich's Grandma! Love that lady! Rich's cousin (Joni) who got married that day is standing in the back with the yellow/gold bowtie. His wife Teresa is beside him. Isn't she gorgeous??
The day after the wedding, we saw Rich's Dad's side of the family. Sadly I never got a chance to meet Rich's Dad so being with his family is so special for both Rich and I.
Grandma Bessie! Rich's Dad's Mom. Can you believe that she's 96 years old? Sharp as a knife, smart as a cookie and cute as a button. Yes, all three! She's sassy and makes me laugh every time I see her. She doesn't hold back with her opinions (ummm, much like me) so I can really appreciate that quality!

Love the photos...keep them coming! I'll check on fb for the others. Just think, in a few short months it will be YOUR wedding!
You next Bo!! :) Can't wait, November is just around the corner.
Love the dress, you look beautiful in it, but then you would look beautiful wearing a sack!
Really enjoyed all the photographs Kuv and Rich. I saw the ones you had put up on FB as well. Fabulous!! May God Bless you both and may you always be a happy and blessed couple.
Mum
I personally like the zebra dress, too cute! I love the mixing of families and getting to be with the family the guy you love is from. Looks like fun!
