T-3 hours to rehearsal dinner

Nails are done, eyebrows are waxed, all items dropped off at the hotel. Rehearsal at 4pm and out-of-town guests' dinner at 6pm. It's all beginning NOW. :) The only thing I have to left to do is write the toast for the reception. Kinda procrastinated on that but I know that my best writing happens when I've left it to the last minute and when I'm a little tipsy - both will occur tonight! Ha!

ps - on a side note - this is the second time in my lifetime that I have had my eyebrows waxed and I have to say that it hurt like a mother. Geeeez!!! It really hurt. Thankfully I don't have red marks below and above my eyebrows. Why would anybody wax the hair off their eyebrows?? Next time I'll find a place that will thread them. Goodness gracious. They're still tingling. (big smile)... :)

Weather is gorgeous outside! I'm kinda hoping that it will rain as that will make it so extra beautiful but Arizona weather usually does not permit too much rain...especially when you want it to happen.

That's it for now! Need to go beautify myself for tonight.

Go figure that I blog more the week of the wedding than ever before!

You should just be making some toasts right about now. I'll had mine here.

To Rich and Kavita, may you have many years of joy, health, and silliness together. On the days when you most want to wring your beloved's neck, hug and kiss them instead and give them the benefit of your most loving self. You'll find this makes most days happy ones.

Love to you both,

Jan

Dearest Kav and Rich,
Today is your wedding day!!!
I pray that today is a blessed day for the entire family and that God blesses you both in a special way. I pray that you have wonderful, happy married life with a lot of sharing and understanding, peace and happiness. May your life from now on be a reflection of your love and may all others hold you as an example of deep love, togetherness and understanding.

As I always say to everyone I know, may this marriage be a bed of roses with a few thorns now and then to remind you of your promise and drive the boredom away, if at all!!

Uncle George and I wish you very sincerely and are with you and the family in spirit. I am sure that the ceremony is going to be a grand and memorable occassion.

Welcome to the family Rich and hope to see you someday soon. Love and hugs and kisses to you both,
Ruth and George.
