We were incredibly lucky to snag a pretty good deal for a Spa treatment at the Golf Course attached to the hotel.
Can you guess what word we're saying?
(Spaaaaaaaa!)
If you didn't think I was a dork before, you now have proof. Poor Rich has to put up with this every day! Isn't he a great sport?
We got to the spa early so that we could enjoy the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Unfortunately these were separate for male/female so Rich and I couldn't relax together. I guess people go naked in to the jacuzzi which I thought was kinda gross. I kept my bikini on.
I felt that it was slightly inappropriate to take pictures of the spa treatment but oh my goodness...it was AWESOME. We got a couple's room which is always so much more comforting than going in alone. I'm still a bit squirmy about barely clothed in front of a stranger. We chose a Sea foam body scrub and massage and while I hate the color Sea foam, I will gladly have it massaged in to my body any day! First, they dry brushed our body and then massaged the Sea foam stuff inch by inch into our skin. It was simply divine. We washed off, and then they massaged our bodies again with an oily moisturizer. Heaven!
Oops. This was supposed to be a picture story...not just a story.
Post-spa treatment.
On our way out, we stopped by the Pro Shop.
See what's hanging out in the bottom shelf?
Never camera shy, we asked the lady to take a pic of us with the baby tiger. I promise you it wasn't stuff as when Rich got too close, the tiger let out quite a snarl. That's why Rich is on my right side...slightly away from the little guy.
And then our last day, we decided to do nothing but relax and that we did.
Beach, beach, beach...
Bliss.
Rich attempted to boogie board but the waves were being stubborn that morning. I have incredibly video of Rich trying to figure out how to boogie board. :)
The last night, we decided to eat out at an Italian Seafood restaurant at the hotel. Coupled with a bottle of wine, we ate lavishly. Rich got scallops (look at the size of those guys!)...
...and I got shrimp with pasta in a curried wine sauced. I was sceptical but the waiter convinced me and I am so glad he did. It was deeee-lish! I can taste it now. Hmmm...
And with that, we celebrate the end of an AWESOME honeymoon! We felt so lucky to have been able to coordinate such a great vacation with such little planning! :)
