...front loader screen looking out

Oie vei. Lots is going on. Ready?
  • Baby shower planning has been kicked up a notch! WooHoo! Wait - did I mention that I am planning baby shower for my bestie? Shhhh...don't tell her. It's a surprise and since she (uh-hum...Amy) might be reading, I can't say too much other than I am in crafting heaven and am determined to make this the best baby shower! However I am busy nearly every evening with one thing or the other. I can't wait to post everything!
  • Work? Wait, I work? Seems like there is so much going on that I forgot that I also have to go to work tomorrow! The good news is that for the most part I have been leaving at 5pm and not working when I get home. Awesome!
  • We maybe found a house. Maybe. It's in an area that we love with one of the best school districts around. It's priced right for the home but a bit over our ideal however it has everything we want. Will need a bit of fixing up here and there but I love a bit of a re-do! We're going back for a second look tomorrow so we'll see.
  • We're having serious neighbor issues. Our neighbor continues to leave his dogs locked outside in their back patio when they are not home - they then bark for 2-3 hours at a go with 10 minute breaks in between. We've addressed it in the past but now that it's cooling down, the neighbor is doing it again. Since he wasn't home on friday, I left him a note asking him to please keep his dogs indoors if he wasn't home. An hour later, he pounded my front door sticking his note (on the door). The note, amongst other things, stated "no more notes b*tch". What?? Seriously? He didn't even ring my door bell. So after taking a deep deep deeeeeeeep breath, I went over there to ask him if he wrote the note which he readily admitted to and then proceeded to cuss at me, yell and basically be an irrational, un-stable, angry-at-the-world man. I was proud of how calm I maintained. Today, I catch him on his tippy toes peering over in to our yard. Ummmm...? As soon as I caught him, he ran inside his house. Hello, can I help you? So Rich and I are waiting to talk to him and see if we can find an agreeable solution. Of course the solution is that he just keeps his dogs indoors when he's not home but if we address it that way, we won't get anywhere.
  • Anxiety - so all this business with the neighbor has driven my anxiety up through the roof. I discovered that I suffer from anxiety a couple years back and for the most part it sits at bay and behaves. But things like this - holy chicago - not good for me. Xanax helps but I hate taking it.
And that's about it! Things are pretty good - just busy! It might be thing way for a little while. I feel like I am in the middle of a washer cycle and I'm looking out of the front loader screen wandering if I can get out or even if I should.

~peace out~

we had a similar barking dog problem w/a neighbor. they were never rude to us but refused to do anything about it. i contacted the police, chandler has dog barking hotline. they sent out an anonymous letter for me as a warning and the barking stopped the next week. maybe try that next? a letter from the police dept might do the trick!
