yellow themed baby shower

Ok, finally! I can post pictures from this weekend's most lovely and treasured baby shower for my bestie. Enjoy!

What do you think? Personally, I thought it turned out great! It was a beautiful afternoon and our mother-to-be adored it! She can't stop talking about her special day and she felt so special! All those hours and weekends of crafting and cupcake recipe testing were so worth it!

In the next couple of days, I'll be posting some more info on how I made the banner, birdhouses, favors and dish labels and some of the other touches. :)

All I can say Kuv is "Oh My"!!!!

I am truly amazed at your beautiful handiwork. I can't say I would change anything, not a thing. Wow!!!

No wonder your friend felt so loved. So proud of you, not only of your talents but also that you would do so much for a friend.

God Bless.

WOWSA Kavita! No detail was untouched. Your little cards are adorable. The lace on the back? The bird on the branch? Swoon! And all that food looked declious! No run of the mill shower food on your watch. Ok, and the banner? Love what you did with all the lace. So cute and such a cute baby name.

PS, I totally posted your post on my Lauren Inspired Facebook page. Because, really, I have no idea what I'm supposed to be sharing on there and I love it so much, hope that's ok. Guess I should've asked before hand. So...umm, is it ok if I "feature" this on FB? I have 3 people who like my page :)

Ok so I'm not trying to be an overwhelming comment-stalker-type today, but I just needed to ask where you found your paper lanterns? Thanks!

You did an AWESOME job! You should submit this to Hostess With the Mostest (hwtm.com?) - I love all the details.

Oh and those bees on the birdhouse are the same ones on Meena's bedroom wall!

Thanks Mum! It was all very worth it! This is my friend's first baby so it had to be extra special. :)

Thanks Lauren! And yes please post on that inspire page. I've never heard of it before. Tell me more! I will be pinning the images somewhat soon. I would love to share the ideas.

Thanks Miriam! I'll check out that website. And yes, you should definitely recognize the bees. I was inspired by Meena's bedroom wall!

Thank you my friends!

Laura, make sure you're using a tip that is a star - it automatically makes frosting look oh so lovely. Then all you needs are steady hands and you've got yourself a lovely frosting.

thank you lori ann!
