This is a picture of the storm we got tonight. We got two winds of it (pun intended). The haboob (boob!) came in at about 8pm and then died down, then came the lightening -see below- and then we got a second thrashing which is currently occuring. It's WONDERFUL!! I am very, very happy. I do like the more peaceful rain than this kind of angry rain, but still I'm not complaining. It was lightly thundering in the video below but my itty bitty camera didn't pick it up unfortunately. Enjoy!
ps -I have the low internet plan and this 30 second video took over 10 minutes to upload, much to Rich's dismay (as it slowed down his internet too).

I love rain but that storm last night was waaaay too scarey for me! Visit Rachel's Tiny Farm over at my blog. She has the most awful pics of the damage downtown. :(
Wow - our storm wasn't as bad in Chandler. My goodness - I had no idea the damage was so bad. I can't believe those beautiful old trees came down. So sad. Were you guys okay?
I love thunder storms! I love to sit on a covered deck with a big blanket and a cup of tea to watch it!
