I am thrilled to have received my first award! Yey, yey! I didn't know that awards existed in blog land until I started to notice them on other people's blogs.
First let me thank Laura over at My Thoughts-Uninterrupted who gave me the Lemonade award. Laura and I have been following each other's blog for about a month or two. I was pleasantly surprized to find such a down-to-earth gal blogging about her life in TN. I remember the day I first read her blog and thought...wow, she kinda sounds like me! :)
So the award comes with two rules. What happens if I should break them, I'm not sure but still...these are the rules:
1. Those that receive them must give a high five (ie - link) to the award giver (that's me folks)
2. And you must then nominate 10 bloggies on your blog
Now I just don't know if I have 10 blogs but here goes:
- Aartilla the Fun - my sister introduced me to the world of blogging and enticed me in to this addiction of mine. She definitely deserves this lemonade award.
- Green Desert - a dear friend of mine Mo has a wonderful GREEN blog that continually inspires me to look inwards and evaluate my actions that impact this wonderful Earth
- the venders - Adrian and Nicole have a beautiful new baby to love and adore and her name is Claire. Faced with many heath challenges, Claire powers on and continues to awe all of those around her!
- notes from a brown house - I used to play with Barbies with Maria and now she's all grown up with a husband, two gorgeous boys and a brown house in Canada. I love knowing how in tune we are with each other after all these years!
- Three Snakes and a Rooster - Leaner has the some of the most naked writing I know of. I don't how else to describe it. Her thoughts are from the heart and goes to show how genuine she is to those around her.
- Conner James - a friend whom I enjoyed my camp days with just had an angelic baby boy and I get to hear all about him! Yey for babies!
- Back in Michigan - Andy Pandy is back in MI to stay and is expecting with his wifey. (Wait...why is everybody around me having babies? Rich, hurry up!) Ok - just kidding.
- the maX files - provides me with my daily dose of worldy wisdom and beauty - thank you Max!
- That damn expat - Laura already gave That damn expat the lemonade award but I couldn't help it. This is some of the best writing in the blog land. I swear.
Ok, I'm done. That was exhausting. Plus I'm watching an awful show on MTV about kids from jersey that go to the jersey shore when they're on break. It's awful but of course I'm glued. G-l-u-e-d. And it's 11:48pm. Fiance is already in bed and I'm here on the sofa drinking red wine, blogging and watching a silly MTV reality show. Sigh.

My first, too! and I have been blogging for 4 years. Thanks for this. I like that my writing is naked. HAHA, now I might have to start writing it while naked. haha. Oh sometimes I crack myself up.

Maria - you can add the award to your blog by going to add gadget. And then you can nominate ten other people for the award. Just make sure to link everybody.

First of all, congrats on your award!
Second, you need to add a follower gadget because if you don't show up in my follower feed thingie I forget you exist.
Third, then I miss out on all the great stories and awards. Sorry for accepting the award just now but I didn't see it before.

You're welcome that damn expat. I truely enjoy reading your writing. It flows so easily. I added the followed gadget thing on to my blog. Not sure what it does but eh...it's there!
