Ode to Shila

For those that aren't familiar with my family, Shila is my most adorable little doggie. Ok, so little isn't quite the right word. Large is probably a better fit. About 70 lbs large. :)

I finally was able to get Shila to 'smile' for the camera. She generally looks like this whenever she hears me even switch my camera on.

This is Shila's classic "woe is me" face. She never looks like this unless she's been bad or the camera is on, or both. :)

Awwww, look at her! She's finally smiling for the camera. This is what she usually looks like! Her ears relaxed yet perky, Husky smile, her Rottie eyes...that's my girl.

Ears up and alert...

Oh you goofy girl! You look so funny here!! Why are your eyebrows raised? Her nicknames are "Mama" and "Goose"...and sometimes "fattie" but only when she really deserves it. :)

We also call her "bear" sometimes. This is what she looks like right after a bath. Big, black and very furry!



And this is me on any given night...two dogs surrounding me. One on my lap, the other wishing he was. ps - sorry for the gratitious shot of Taz. I used some censorship techniques. He doesn't like his jazz publicized.

So there you go! That's my photo ode to Shila. She's my big bear, my goose, my Mama and my fattie. :) Stay tuned for an Ode to Biter...oh ooops, I meant Ode to Taz tomorrow. :)
