The list

I'm proud of my myself today. I got so much stuff done and feel so accomplished, if I do say so myself. Rich went to the lake today with our friends. I couldn't bare to be in the sun and heat all day long - I would have been miserable - so I didn't go. So instead I made a list of all of the things that have been nagging me as of late and got them done! As well as some errands. Ready for my list? This is more so for my sake...

  • Got an oil change
  • Picked up wedding rings
  • Picked up food for dinner
  • Filled up gas
  • Returned a pair of shoes
  • Cleaned out the crap from the car that accumulates on the back seat
  • Got the car washed
  • Got groceries
  • Did laundry
  • Put away dishes and re-arranged cupboard for pots & pans
  • Unclogged the bathroom drain
  • Cleaned the shower and the bathtub, the sinks and the mirror
  • Cleaned out the fridge and took out the trash & recycling
  • Watered the plants, added soil to a couple struggling ones
  • Cleaned up the living room, the dining room and the kitchen
  • Made a BIG dent in printing up wedding invitations

Yey!! Maybe Rich should go to the lake more often... :)

Oh ps - while returning shoes at the mall, a lady came up to me and asked if I had a hair stylist (in general, not for the wedding). I cautiously said yes. She handed me her business card anyway and said that she owned a salon that did eyebrows, hair cuts and that she could relax my hair. I guess she didn't like what she saw! I should have been annoyed but instead it made me laugh!

That stylist must need glasses. You are drop dead gorgeous from head to toe. I think she wanted to have you as a client so she could say she was responsible for how great you look!

Thanks for trying to help me bob along over on my blog too. Getting there and more yoga DEFINITELY helps!

Hugs,

Jan

Phew!! I got exhausted just reading our list. But I did some fun things with Crish, went for Crish's hair cut at a real posh place. Went to
McDonald's - first time in three years!

Went window shopping for wedding sarees on MG Road. Went to four shops and I might have found the saree that I want to wear for the wedding. It is cheaper than the one I originally saw. Same color but more elegant. I want to check one more shop before I make up my mind. Going to choir practice now and it is only 3.00 p.m. !!
Eating a delicious guava now:)
