This might be a record for me - the most number of pictures uploaded in to one post. This post is dedicated to my awesome family. My sister
Aarti and her husband Brendan live in L.A. which is pretty close to Phoenix. However my Mum, Dad and little sister Crish live in Bangalore, India. It's very hard for all of us to get together in one place - last time was December 2007 which feels like eons ago. Not only was November 2009 a time for us to celebrate our wedding but it was a special time for the family to get together and be goofy together like we usually do. My Mum, Dad and Crish were here for a week and then Aarti and Bren flew in for the second week. Right after the wedding, Mum, Dad and Crish went to L.A. to visit my sister and Bren in their home. They are still there and leaving tomorrow. :( My heart is heavy. My tears are not far away...just waiting for the right moment. Last Monday was a bad day when they left Phoenix for L.A. and today/tomorrow I feel like I am reliving the same heart-ache all over again as they embark on their journey back to India Monday afternoon.
Sigh. I wish I could blog about my real feelings about 'missing' but it's too painful. Instead I will choose to celebrate the time we had together. Here is a *large* sample of pictures from our family time together. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!
