Really?

So really Snuggie CEO, you think this will sell?

Because the human version isn't bad enough, you thought that a petite canine version would be better?  Do you think that people will buy this for function or for a gag gift?  And are you really ok with the latter?

  Me:  Hi Shila!
Shila:  Hi Mama.
Me:  What do you want for Christmas?
Shila:  Hmm, don't know as yet.  A bone?
Me:  What about the new snuggie?
Shila:  The what?
  Me:  The new snuggie?
Shila:  I'm perplexed.
Me:  Really?  I guess you aren't keeping up with what's
fashionable these days.  It's a blanket that is also kind of like
          a robe.
Shila:  (awkward silence)
Me:  Don't worry, it's especially designed so that your two front
paws are free.  It says so on the box.
Shila:  (awkward silence)
  Me:  Shila?
Shila:  Please don't ever mention that again.

:)

Maybe for your dogs they are silly, but Lily? She is practically bald and needs sweaters and such for these cold AZ winters (hahahahaha, can you imagine if we moved somewhere that it snows? She would freeze.) I have seriously considered getting her one. She gets cold when its cooler than 70.

lol, you are the second bloggy friend of mine who has noticed these... I don't really know what to say about them. On the one hand, blanket warmth and ability to read a book at the same time, on the other hand (freed by wearing the Snuggie of course), errrr... well I'm with Shila on that one. xx

Lori Ann - yes it was a great little staycation! I didn't think we did too much but after reading my blog post, I feel otherwise. :)

And to everybody else - please see my next blog post which will most likely make you smile at the irony.
