Good weekend!

Wow, what a weekend!  It was a mixture of all things fabulous.  Friday night we had a date night at our favorite Vietnamese restaurant called Cyclo.  Saturday was a full day of golf and then Sunday we cleaned and organized till we dropped!  Some may remember our goal to really work on the house.  Well, today I finally got the den and the guest bedroom back in order!  No more wedding stuff everywhere.

Guest bedroom is back in order.  Phew!  I'm going to look for a simple bed frame as well as a bed skirt.

Look how organized (and pretty I might add) my organization ended up looking!

About a month ago we cleaned up so much junk from the closet in the den and gave about 90% of it to Goodwill!  What a fabulous feeling!  Now everything is organized and labeled.  :)

The desk in the den.  We're going to get rid of the computer soon as well since we don't use it.  Notice the bright orange 'B' that I made for our wedding card box.  I love that 'B'!

The other side of the den where my reading corner is.  :)  Now I need to get some canvas up on the wall.

Remember this guy?  I still have him!

I absolutely love this lamp!

Rich did so much cleaning and sorting as well today while I chipped away at these two rooms.  And then while he cooked dinner, I swept, mopped and vacuumed.  And then he introduced me to this tool called a 'snake' that you use to clean out any type of sink.  GROSS.  Rich did every sink in the house.  Whenever I strolled by to see what he was up to, I nearly gagged.  That stuff is so disgusting.  I am so glad that he can stomach that kind of stuff, and that he does it for us!  On top of that we laundered all the sheets, towels, bathroom rugs.  It was quite the day for cleaning!!  And it feels soooooooooo good.

Meanwhile, we found this guy who we are eager to get rid of.  Why?  Because it gives me the heebie jeebies!  Anybody want it?

ps - I'm not included in the give-away!

Is it wrong that I LOVE that pic of you and the Mask? The necklace is beautiful by the way, and if you don't get another taker I'll bet Rhayn would love that creepy mask. :)

Donate the mask to a school if nobody else will have it... they might be able to use for some geography work about different countries... or use it for art or a school play! xx

You inspired me... I have spent all day having a major clean out and chasing the dust sheep from under the bed. I only really managed to get rid of clothes and shoes but at least the rest is tidy!
