Before: Main living and dining area from one particular angle
After: I see green!
ps - the gigantic sized tv was purchased 'pre-kavita'. :)
Before: Living area from a different angle
After: Don't know why it looks like beige in this pic.
(Note to self - the 'i before e except after c' doesn't work for the word beige).
So I'm going to do a big painting on canvas using a cream background a lot of different blue colors that will go above the sofa.
Before: Dining area
After: More green!
We're going to paint that area to the right a darker green before putting the art back up.
Before: Dining area in to the kitchen
After: Huh, I think that painting is a bit wonky, no?
Before: Kitchen from one angle
After: Kind of a creamy beige, can you see?
Note that the collection of alcohol bottles has been consolidated and moved. :)
Before: blah
After: Weeee!
Note how much cleaner it looks. Yes I organized and put a lot of stuff away. This is the best the kitchen has looked in a long time. Let's hope it lasts!
So, what do you think? It's mostly a very subtle light creamy sage green color. The kitchen is a light beige color as our kitchen unfortunately doesn't get as much sunlight than the rest of the house. All in all, I think it turned out pretty well! We're a bit nervous that if we ever wanted re-sell the house that it might look a bit too green. :) And sometimes I do feel like I'm living inside a sage bush. BUT...I like it. We're still waiting for the paint smell to dissipate. I've been in a foul mood ever since Saturday and I'm going to go ahead and blame it on the paint because I have no other reason to be such a grump other than my extending waist line but more on that later.
Let me know what you think! And yes you can say you hate it...or that it's not your cup of tea. Not everybody likes the feeling of a sage bush. :)

I LOVE it! it is a gorgeous color, so warm and earthy and natural and organic all at the same time. both colors actually. well done!
did you say expanding waistline??? is it time for another countdown???
Love it Kuv. The house looks really beautiful.
If you guys ever decide to sell the house, I am sure the new owner will like the colour. Really the sage is so subtle, so nice.
Awesome colours. Awesome layout. Well done !!
:)
I like it lot. Maybe this will motivate me to paint my house :)
I like it. Its nice and subtle.
I love it! Never be afraid of paint - it is easily changed - by you or new owners. I love that green color, and I think the kitchen really warmed up. I also really like all the recessed areas in your walls. Very cool.

I like it! It's very subtle and serene...and when you do go to sell I don't think it would be an issue since it falls in the 'earth tones' category. Just my two cents.
Thank you everybody for your comments! We're really digging it. I want to finish things up and have this project done. And Lori Ann - I am not pregnant! :) Just wanted to clarify. :)
