Grey's finale

I forgot to write about the Grey's Anatomy finale Thursday night!  Did anybody watch it??  Oh.  My.  Gosh.  OH.  MY.  GOSH.  I won't go in to details as I'm sure that I'll bore most of you who probably don't watch.  but what I will say is that it is one of the best season finales I have ever seen!  I was on the edge of my seat with my hands covering my mouth for the full two hours.  My heart was beating fast and I sometimes forgot to breathe.  It was that terrifying!!  There was blood everywhere and it was super gorry (spl?).  But more than that, the story line was just go freakin' good!

I wanted to share with you a text conversation back and forth with my best friend Liz.  Now keep in mind that Liz was watching this an hour ahead of me so her texts started coming in an hour before I began to watch.  I was happily hanging out with the husband for the first hour and I kept thinking 'how bad could it really be?'.  You'll soon see when I realized exactly what Liz was talking about.  You'll see what I mean...

Liz:  Omg the first 20 mins of greys is CRAZY.  I know it probably hasn't started there yet but HOLY SHIT.  That's all I gotta say.  We will have to chat about it after you have seen it.
Me:  You're funny  :)
Liz:  Omg i can't handle the stress!  We need to be watching this damn show together.  I hope Rich is watching this with u.  AGAIN HOLY SHIT.
Me:  Ok about to start watching.  :)
Liz:  Text me a ways in and tell me your reactions
Me:  "due to violent content, viewer discretion is advised".  Grrrrrrreat as I'm about to eat my subway sandwich.
Liz:  U might want to rethink that eating idea...
Me:  :)  nom, nom, nom
Me:  Holy f*ck.
Liz:  U have no idea
Me:  I feel sick.  Too much blood.
Liz:  It doesn't get any better as far as the blood goes.  But you have to watch so we can discuss.  I need a drink.  A stiff drink.
Me:  Ditto.
Liz:  And this is only a tv show.
Me:  15 more minutes and then I can breathe.  Holy crap.
Liz:  I know right?  I am still decompressing.
Me:  I think this is the last commercial break...

And so forth, and so forth...  :)  Does this accurately portray our journey as viewers?  :)  And my favorite part?  Where I go from teasing Liz about my subway sandwich - "nom, nom, nom" - to - "holy f*ck".  That is when I realized exactly what Liz was trying to tell me earlier in the conversation.  In fact she was right.  I couldn't even finish my sandwich.  Makes me laugh now!  Love ya Lizard!

So if you watch Grey's, let me know what you thought!  I thought it was fabulous and I can't wait for it come back in the fall.
Peace,
~k

so sorry about mangalore, such a tragedy...

now then, greys anatomy.

OMG.
the thing is i don't watch tv. Ever.
but, my daughter had just filmed her first commercial and it was airing last thursday night so she told me to turn on the channel where the network would run the ad.

i can't repeat our texts back and forth to each other, but they were hysterical. we wrote all through the 2 hours and i never did see the commercial after all that. the general theme of my text was I HATE YOU. haha. (she was apologizing all night, as well as laughing her head off!)
i think i was traumatized.

Aarth, I know...it was SO incredibly stressful but I'm glad that I watched. :)
