We're Engaged!

Yes that's right! We're engaged! It happened last night. Right now I'm feeling a bit too lazy to give you the whole story but I'm hoping that the pictures below explain it all. I've told the story about 10 times between last night and today. I promise to produce a narrative for you all soon. :) For now here are pics from last night...

Rich cooked a yummy dinner last night! We got the crablegs from Costco yesterday on the cheap. Such a good deal!

I didn't know at this point in the evening that he was going to ask although I was hoping all day long that today would be the day. See...we bought the ring together a while back and we've been trying hard to keep it quiet.

Isn't he SO AWESOME?? This is how Rich proposed. :) He even chose our favorite color green. Makes me feel all mushy just remembering the evening. Sigh.

This is right after Rich proprosed and I had cleaned up from my 'ugly cry'. Yes, I did the ugly cry. Notice my awful K-mart bedroom robe! If only I had known I would not have worn this that evening! Hidden from this pic are also my ugly fuzzy black socks. :) We got engaged at about 11:30pm last night so we look a little sleepy in this pic.

What a great combo!! And no my nails don't always look like that. Since I knew we might be getting engaged in December, I went and got them done.

Side note - yes I have incredibly wrinkly hands. I got teased once in high-school about it and then again last night by my fiance.

But I still love him!

Once of the best things about last night was that we were with our doggies enjoying the special moment with them. After the proposal, Rich and I hung out at the dining table talking with each other and petting the dogs. That's when I also realized that Taz was now my dog too. Uh-oh.

Shila had the same realization too.
