Umm, so this wierd phenomena is occuring. Rich and I keep on finding stray/lost animals. First it was Roxie (see post below). Then on Wednesday, Rich found a lost dog in the neighborhood. Thankfully our neighbor volunteerd to make sure the doggie ended up home. Yesterday I came across another stray cat while Kelly and I were out and about. It ran away pretty fast so there was no helping him/her. And I have to admit that I since we were out and about, my heart wasn't set on helping this cat out.
But then today Rich and I were driving in to our complex and found a little puppy running around. He was a little beagle puppy, probably about 12 inches long. I got out of the car and then from a house appeared another puppy. We quickly figured out that both puppies belonged to the same house and had escaped through a gap in the bottom of the yard gate. The family wasn't home so we got some cinder blocks from our house and returned the doggies to their yard and blocked the gap in the gate with the cinder blocks.
Cats: 2
Dogs: 3
Really? Really????? I told Rich that this better stop soon because it's exhausting!!

Crap, you guys get the medal for pet savers. Bravo!
I read an article recently that said more people are abandoning their animals because of the economy. Is this a possible explanation?
Hope no other little critters need your help for a long time!
Lauren - no bunny rescues just yet. :)
Jan - possibly. sad, isn't it?
