Picture story numero dos

Oooooh, I just love picture stories! It's the best of both worlds - pictures and a story! So here is a little bit of our second day. I didn't take as many pictures this day...to be honest I didn't as many pictures the whole trip as I usually do (much to Rich's delight)!

Ok so really, this picture has no purpose other than to make you really, really hungry. Doesn't it look soooo good? It was our breakfast the morning of day 2. It was just as good as it looks! And as one wise woman (Jan!) told us...Portland takes their breakfast seriously!

After breakfast, we headed to the Portland Art Museum. Rich and I usually hit up the art museum no matter where we're at. That's one of the things I LOVE about him! This picture is of an interesting art piece that took up a whole room. It was a piano with a tree in it. The piano played music by itself. It was kinda eery but strangely incaptivating!
Umm...and don't ask me what it means.
I have no idea.
haha!

After the art museum, we tested our my map skills (i'm always navigator) and made our way to the air tram thinga-ma-jig. It's one of those things that takes you up so you can get a view of the city. It was very purtty! I have to say though that I was just a tad disappointed with how long the ride was.
Guess.
No really...guess.
...
...
...
3 minutes.

But!! We still had fun! That thing was fun to ride! I swear I thought we were going to plummet to our death. At least I had this fabulous face on. Haha!

Gorgeous view, huh? This my friends...is.....Portland!

The rest of day 2, we explored the local districts of Hawthorne (where I will one day live if I can only convince Richie!) and Belmont. I unfortunately didn't take pictures as the only thing on my mind during those visits was food as I was crazy hungry!

Next up (maybe tomorrow) is a picture story from day 3 - Montnumah falls and Mount Hood! Are you excited? Yup, I can tell. :)

I think you hit all my favorite places! Wasn't Montnumah soooo beautiful. I really liked the hike/walke/processes of getting to the falls. What a fun trip you had. If I could I would move there in a heartbeat.

I was thinking you may want to live there after your visit!

Lizzie, I really loved Portland! We'll see....maybe one day. I wonder how close Oregon is to SD...? Yup, that's how bad my geography is - haha!
