This week has been about my circle of friends! It just so happened that I have had the wonderful opportunity to see a bunch of my friends over this past week and I'm just feeling sooooooo grateful! I remember when I first moved out to AZ and really didn't know anybody. I moved out here with a guy I was dating at the time and within about 8 mos, we had broken up and I was out on my own. I mean really...on my own! No friends to speak of! What a period of growth that time was. :) It was pretty rough. Harry the cat was my only buddy. Am I painting a sad picture or what?? Haha!
Not having family here in AZ and little family in the States forced me to make things happen. Forced me to get out there and be social. To find true, kind-hearted and similar-minded folks. I worked very hard to build friendships and relationships. In fact, Mo was one of the first that I came to know! Yey Mo! :) And then through work, volunteering, gosh even tap dancing (!) and just other avenues, I have met new people and am happy to say that I have a real foundation here in Phoenix. I just feel so blessed to be surrounded by such awesome people! I'm having a moment of true gratitude. True bliss. :)

Ooooh and I also got a letter from Lizzie this week which made my day!! ps - have you started your letter writing as yet? Yes you - I'm talking to you!
Erin (whom we affectionately call G), myself and a very pregnant Brooke after eating yummy Indian food! I am happy to say that Brooke gave birth to a beautiful and healthy boy just days after this picture. Congratulations John and Brooke! I like to say that it was the spice that gave Braydon the final kick to enter this big ol' world of ours. :)
My friend Dino (husband of Charity) who plays in an awesome surfer band called the Incognitoes played at a local dive in Phoenix called Chopper Johns. Dino (far left) and his fellow band mates are awesome! They play really chill music (check out the link to hear a sampling) that just makes you want to dance...or play pool...or play darts...see below...
Steve whom I like to call Stevie came out to Chopper Johns with us and we ended up playing pool and darts...Steve likes to play with one foot in the air. :) j/k...
Nobody would mess with Ryan! He's very tall and beefy and throws a mean dart or two!So there you go! Yay to friends!
