So I was (and still am) so excited for cooler weather that last weekend when I saw the forecast was calling for 90 degree temps, I pulled out some fall decorations and also scoured the sale/clearance aisles at Michael's. I'm particularly proud of this year's fall centerpiece! Wanna peek? You'll also see some pics of the doggies...

One of my best friends gave me the candle holders as a wedding gift and now they are permanently on the table because I love them so much! I stumbled upon these tapered candles at Michaels - how fun are they with the glitter? I fell in the love with the beautiful bronze/brown color.
I also found Oscar at Michael's and I knew I had to rope him in some how. He is just so cute and peculiar at the same time! I love that I have an owl as part of the centerpiece. Oscar the Owl. :)
I managed to stick a flower in there too for good measure. :)
This was last year's centerpiece (minus a few autumn leaves)...I've definitely upgraded since last year.
Rich started to get sick this weekend :( but I managed to snap this pic of us before he really got bad. Poor boo. I feel so bad for him when he gets sick. Today we've both been home...it gives me an opportunity to take care of him.
Here are our poor orphan dogs putting on a good show for you...they obviously have such a miserable life. :)

I like how her one little tooth is sticking out as she positions herself in to the sun.
Face smash wasn't quite as close with my step-son Taz. He has quite sharp teeth you know.

And there you go! I checked the forecast for this week and we're heading back up again to 97 but as long as it's not triple digits, I'm happy!

I remember how we looked forward to cooler months in Dubai.
The doggy pictures as usual are awsome, seem to me they are sad that the master is sick.

I agree, the cooler mornings and being able to have a window or two open has changed the way I feel. (That at the morning sickness abating...)
I am excited about fall, and winter.

Helena, I am loving being able to keep the window open too! I just love this time of year as the anticipation builds every day for cooler weather.

Speaking of cute - you look adorable in that hat - I wish I could do hats, but have an oddly shaped head apparently, because they never look quite right.
